Terms of Service
These terms apply when you message a business that uses Emma, the customer messaging assistant operated by DSE Group ("we", "us"), on WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram or website chat. By messaging the business through these channels, you agree to them.
What the service does
Emma answers questions on behalf of the business you are messaging, using that business's own information, and passes conversations to the business's staff when needed. Emma is an automated assistant, not a person. You can ask for a person at any time.
Accuracy
Replies are generated by an AI model from information the business provides. They may occasionally be incomplete or wrong. Prices, availability, bookings, refunds and other commitments are confirmed only by the business itself. If something matters to you, confirm it with the business's staff.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to send unlawful, abusive or harmful content, to impersonate others, to try to extract other people's data, or to interfere with the service. Do not send payment card details, passwords or government identifiers in chat. We may stop responding to conversations that break these rules.
Your information
How we handle your messages is described in our Privacy Policy. You can request deletion as explained in our data deletion instructions.
The business's responsibility
Your purchase, booking or other relationship is with the business you are messaging, under that business's own terms. We provide the messaging assistant only.
Platform terms
Your use of WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram is also governed by Meta's own terms and policies.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from replies generated by the assistant or from interruptions of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version.
